The Marine Corps has suspended combat fitness tests for the rest of the year due to the spikes of coronavirus cases across the country.
“All Marines who have not yet conducted the Combat Fitness Test will not do so this year due to the current nationwide #COVID19 environment,” the service’s official Twitter account posted Friday.
As of now, testing is suspended through the rest of 2020 and will resume in January,
according to a memo from the Marine Corps.

We are still on hold until Jan and my guess is 2021 will be waivers at least halfway as well.

I am glad to see in the article they didn't suspend it for boot camp. When I saw this I was thinking how could they? When you leave boot camp you have to be in good shape and ready for anything. Honestly, I don't see the reason for suspending it though. Suspending CFT isn't going to stop the virus from spreading.

Besides they don't have to be on top of You and inside of Six feet to see if You can do the exercises. Once again its more overkill and taking steps that didn't need to be taken, without this there are people that will maintain good physical condition but I'm sure some will not.
