The Carpenters were destined for stardom back in the 1970s and their Christmas songs seemed to quicken their rise to fame... The song I bring you was from their 1970 singles and I can vividly remember it playing many many times over the years... Karen Carpenter's voice was so melodic and had a certain panache to it, which brought people to the Carpenter's music... This song I bring you is titled "Merry Christmas Darling" and I believe you will all enjoy it!
