The County of Lackawanna Transit System (COLTS) refused to run an ad with one word, "Atheists" and two links, while running ads for a Catholic, a Lutheran, and a Presbyterian church. It just cost the taxpayers of Lackawanna County over a quarter of a million dollars.

What is wrong with atheism?? Atheist's have the right to believe anyway they want. FREEDOM OF RELIGION. The PA Transit System has no right to ban the AD.

Cpl Kirk Mullins - except, of course, that they weren't a private company, and the Court of Appeals said that lack of religion had the same rights a religion has. This wasn't a settlement, this was a court saying that the government was wrong.
