There were some great ideas out there but nothing compares to our Constitution and Bill of Rights

The Magna Carta was a document of common study during "the enlightenment." It is not a matter of comparison. A comparison is like saying that cinnamon doesn't compare to cinnamon rolls. Without cinnamon, you'd just have sugar rolls.

The Magna Carta was a great foundation to build on. I too think nothing compares to our Constitution and Bill of Rights - and our Declaration of Independence which is foundational to them. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights have been and still are an inspiration to many people and many nations. Folks from other nations have said as much, when asking me why I think so many Americans do not seem to realize the ways in which we, as citizens are empowered to participate in our own governing, while being protected from unjust governing.
