SFC (Join to see) Best thing the Navy Ever Taught Me, Note Taking Skills, I Sucked at School but Once the Navy Taught Me that Unique Skill I was Stellar in All My Navy Courses. Get as Much Information as You Can, Write it Down as Thoroughly as You Can, Write it again Filling in the Short Hand Blanks, Write it a Third Time. You May Not completely Understand what You Learned initially but Damn if that Information isn't locked into Your Brain. Something about the Mechanical Action or Something of Writing.

Thanks Chip, all old school good advise. Currently I'm trying to get my grandchildren to balance their checkbooks correctly, and they are just about ready to give up. I sure hope they don't.
