LTC Eugene Chu Ah Yes the Naval Observatory, Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller was the First One to Make it His Residence if I'm Not Mistaken.

I think they should sell the extra residence and live in the city... Or at the very least, President and VP should share accommodations... After all there is an east and west end of the Whitehouse... Not only would this save the taxpayers money but it also might actually give them a taste of what DC residents deal with on a daily basis... I often wonder when I see these, if there aren't others out there funded by our tax dollars.... Just a complete waste of money if you ask me.....
