They are afraid of Trump's clean the swamp agenda. They have become a despotic legislature relying on the status quo to enrich themselves while lording over "we the people." They are attempting to ensure he will never become President again to maintain the status quo. They are running a treasonous coup against the US Constitution.

I've already told you and others, I'm not a q person. When are you going to stop spreading that BS. Again, I've said, I believe q is a left wing psyop to hook conservatives. For the last time, I'M NOT A Q PERSON!

It might be a good time to step out of your echo chamber, It may not be called "Q" for the left but there is most definitely a bunch of conspiracy nuts on your side of the aisle still parroting debunked lies. It would be awesome to see the same zeal you have for the right being used on the left when they are spreading those lies.

Sgt (Join to see) I actually heard Senator Paul discuss this issue as well as the Dems who have invited violence since the 2016 election! Let’s hope these politicians are held accountable fir wasting taxpayers time and money on their ridiculous ‘distraction’ methods...just my two cents

Chris, you sound like every pundit on mslsd! What part of "peacefully and patriotically let your voices be heard" don't they understand? What you are saying is hyperbole. Of those who have been arrested, quite a few were agents provocateur who have said things like, "I'm not here for Trump" who were inciting the crowd. Those are the people who need to be held accountable. Everyone who supports or supported Trump wasn't in DC.

We the people have a Constitutional right to redress our grievances which the legislature was refusing to hear. Don't you remember your oath? It's to the US Constitution, not a person or party.

Additionally, the left's current "deprogramming" language has roots in some very evil times and places. Maybe you need to take a holistic look in the mirror. And since you can't have a civil conversation without unbecoming and emotional outbursts, you are really in the wrong place.

CPT Chris McGowan - Let's blow up you first BS thought #1. The constitution says exactly: “President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States” shall be removed from office if convicted in an impeachment trial of “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Do you see the F'n key words? "Shall be removed from office". How can someone be removed from office if they are not in office? Try reading the damn Constitution sometime.
Shall we go through each of your BS enumerated lies?

CPT Chris McGowan - I get it, you can't read.....Constitution says clearly, try to apply the skill of comprehension, REMOVE FROM OFFICE. It does not say REMOVE FROM OFFICE OR IF TRUMP IS OUT OF OFFICE THEN IT'S OK. Read the constitution, don't post someone's agenda driven "opinion". It's absolutely clear and the federalist papers back it up. Federalist 69, "The President of the United States would be liable to be impeached, tried, and, upon conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes or misdemeanors, removed from office". Again, nothing about after leaving office.

Take your BS elsewhere.

Enjoy.

CPT Chris McGowan - These guys agree with me and not your antAmerican BS!!!]
On every question of construction carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed. —Thomas Jefferson

The first and governing maxim in the interpretation of a statute is to discover the meaning of those who made it. —James Wilson, in Of the Study of Law in the United States

The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government. But the Constitution, which at any time exists, ‘till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole people, is sacredly obligatory upon all. … If in the opinion of the people the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this in one instance may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. — George Washington

Can it be of less consequence that the meaning of a Constitution should be fixed and known, than a meaning of a law should be so? — James Madison

The important distinction so well understood in America, between a Constitution established by the people and unalterable by the government, and a law established by the government and alterable by the government, seems to have been little understood and less observed in any other country. — James Madison

Our peculiar security is in possession of a written Constitution. Let us not make it a blank paper by construction. … If it is, then we have no Constitution. — Thomas Jefferson
