And the party of voter suppression is at it again. The same party that disenfranchised an entire Indian tribe in 2018 is going to see if they can do it again.

MSG Stan Hutchison - well explain it to me. People who moved out of state are still supposed to be able to vote in the state they left, you know, permanent change of address etc? My brother passed away 16 years ago. He died in and was a resident of Virginia. The only thing that tied him to Georgia was a forwarding address to my residence to clear up the estate. I got two applications for him for ballots from Stacy Abram’s old group. It is ridiculous! Suppress the vote my rear!

LTC David Brown - Registration applications do not necessarily mean voter fraud. As far as I know, if a person permanently moves out of state, they lose the right to vote in that state. (military excepted).
How about the reduction in polling places?
How about in at least one case, the reduction of drop-off boxes for ballots?
Here are a few being considered in Georgia's GOP controlled legislature:
"eliminating no-excuse absentee voting" (which they have had for 15 years)
" requiring photo ID for absentee voting"
" outlawing ballot drop boxes"
and
"They are also monitoring other possible requirements floated by Republicans, including for absentee ballots to require a signature match, verified by a Notary Public, ,,,, the elimination of mobile voting buses during early voting and cracking down on line warming, in which non-partisan groups provide people waiting to vote things like water, snacks and folding chairs. "

Looks like an attempt to restrict voting. And that is just one state. This crap is going on in almost every Republican controlled state, especially those that voted against Trump.

MSG Stan Hutchison - you do realize the reduction in polling place was a result of decreased voting at the polling places and many of those districts are controlled by DEMOCRATS. Ballot drop off boxes , again, are controlled by the precinct managers not a central state entity. I do believe there should be signature matching. I think absentee ballots should be requested and controlled. I think the absentee ballots should be mailed, not dropped in a drop box.

LTC David Brown - Yeah, it's funny that you can bank with a tribal ID, travel with a tribal ID, buy a gun with a tribal ID, buy liquor with a tribal ID, basically do anything but vote.
Why is that?
Why is that?
