It is nearing the Monday Lunchtime Music Interlude and since I have kicked off several morning with the Queen of Rock and Roll, Tina Turner, I am continuing the trend by sharing with all of you one of her less known songs titled "Typical Male" performed Live 2009 at one of her many venues... It will rock you, and the dancing by Ms. Turner and her dancers, will draw many an eye with some exotic dance moves... All in keeping with good taste, though... LOL! I believe you will all enjoy this noontime Rockin' song!

"Typical Male" is a song recorded by American singer Tina Turner. It was written by Terry Britten and Graham Lyle and produced by the former for Turner's studio album Break Every Rule (1986). The song hit #1 in Cash Box magazine and peaked at #2 for three weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, behind "When I Think of You" by Janet Jackson and "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper. It reached #3 on the Billboard R&B Chart. The B-Side of the single was "Don't Turn Around", covered by Bonnie Tyler, Aswad, and Ace of Base. Phil Collins plays drums on the song. "Typical Male" is unusual for a pop song, in that the chorus includes a single measure in 2/4 time.

I know she was popular, but I never really go into her music. Ike the same for that matter.

Great song, running real late today. Wife had a Dr appointment then I got my Covid shot then got home and got involved in hooking a sound bar up on our bedroom tv.
