Elvis How great thou art 1972 (very impressive)

I may never find those stories, SGT James Murphy. I moved to Memphis in NOV77 after Elvis died that August. When it opened to the public in 1978, all you had to do was walk up to a brick ticket office at the music notes gates, pay a dollar or two and walk right up the driveway and into the house. Nowadays, the visit takes half a day and costs a small fortune!
My wife was a senior in HS in Memphis, ‘67-‘68. Back then, Elvis and Priscilla would open the house to the public on Sunday afternoon. Frequently, they’d be riding horses in the back. My wife actually spoke to them both on one of those Sundays!

LTC Stephen C. - Yup, I missed Elvis but if you want to talk Nashville! I got a lot of one-on-one stuff. Even Sat in with Doc and Merle Watson.

Sounds good, SGT James Murphy! Let me hear some stories! I may be able to “out Nashville” you though! I’ve lived in the Nashville area (Williamson County) since 1991, and we’ve seen a lot. We even lived “next door” (along with seven other houses) to Alan and Denise Jackson as he started hitting it big!

LTC Stephen C. - Great. I'm trying to remember the Lighting Director for Alabama for 12 years who lives there. I think his stage design company was called up late design or something. I'd have to look for some notes in my old business. I Used to Sell Autodesk Products and Train People on Design and Animation.
