7% of Texas power output is WindxPower. The problem is not wind or solar. It was the fact that thecsystem was not engineered fir cold weather. Power plants have uninhibited above ground water pipes. Gas line valves froze as they to were not insulated. The problem is just plain stupidity but that is Texas.

Actually about 2o% of Texas power is “ renewable/green” energy provided by windmills. Germany is suffering the exact same problems.. https://www.eia.gov/state/analysis.php?sid=TX

Don't solely blame wind power. Other places with colder climates have precautionary SOPs to keep turbines operating during inclement weather.
