I saw this on Twitter - and it's fucking heartbreaking to watch. Honestly worse than the CG saying that he wants to retain him (after everyone else said no) is they were going to let him out with a HONORABLE discharge. Despite him admitting to what he did.
This isn't just the Marines. It happens everywhere. Sexual assault still isn't taken seriously. It's only taken seriously when it's the "flavor of the week."

- It is a huge black eye on for the Marines.
- The perpetrator should face a court martial.
- The CG should be relieved from his duties for poor judgement.
- Crossing some lines should always be punished.
