I have argued this for a long time. Either do away with the registration requirement for men or make it apply to everyone.

As a side note, I wonder how many 18 year old men actually register?

I agree, and even said so when I registered back in *mumble mumble mumble.* No one was impressed by my stunning insight into equality.

My Sons won't be registering till this is changed. If I don't want my Daughters Drafted, I sure as heck don't want my Sons either.

Damn straight! Women should have always been Draft Eligible. Women demand equality, which is fine. However, this old sexist roll, and law, that only men are to be sent off to fight war on behalf of this Nation, has been an insult to this Nation since the very beginning. Equality mean equal treatment.
