I usually support the military, but in this case they are wrong. The state parks belong to the people.

Oh give me a break. There isn't any other citizens using the parks and Navy Seal could not do any damage to the parks. The water is really cold here in Washington State in the Ocean all year long.

CW3 Dick McManus - There is a lot of coast they could use. I do not like the idea that I may be camping and be subject to undercover surveillance. Plus, those parks belong to the people of Washington. Let the military train on military property.

In my career, I had first hand exposure to the damage that can be created in military training events. Maybe they could train at Yakima,,, lol.

I gotta agree with WEAN here - at least based on this article. The Navy is effectively working to prevent Washingtonians from fully utilizing their own state parks. Preventing them from going "too close" to a SEAL in THEIR PARK or from using the waterways which are part of the park they pay state taxes to maintain and use is just wrong.
