MAJ Ken Landgren - I wouldn't say problems, our Pa. state retirement system explained it would be 2 to 3 months before my pension payments began. I expected it so I have enough cash on hand for monthly expenses. I still have to complete some financial transactions when I finally get the first pension payment that will consist of a few months and a leave payout so I guess I’m nervous about that. When I retired, I imagined a schedule of hitting the gym every morning for about a half year and that's not happening right now. I'm teaching my granddaughter to drive. I worry about my people I left at work, and I shouldn’t they are adults. I guess I'm just working my way through the very beginning of my retirement and it’s not exactly what I expected. Thanks for asking. I know I just unloaded a lot more than you wanted to know.

No u r fine. One would expect the pension to kick in right away since it is an important facet of your life. That is poor support.R u looking for a job? Hang in there! SFC (Join to see)

MAJ Ken Landgren - Not looking for a job now. Maybe in a year or two if the fishing isn't too good. :) Roger wilco, thanks for the kind words.

Fishing was a passion at one time, but PTSD does strange things to people. However, that passion has been replaced by my endeavor to help others with PTSD. That is a good trade. :)SFC (Join to see)

I believe so also. I just retired the end of January, and I worry about my old direct reports. For what ever reason they haven’t filled my position, and what I hear from my senior people everything is going sideways. It's not a good situation.
