“I Felt Hate More Than Anything”: How an Active Duty Airman Tried to Start a Civil War

It was 2:20 p.m. on June 6, 2020, and Steven Carrillo, a 32-year-old Air Force sergeant who belonged to the anti-government Boogaloo Bois movement, was on the run in the tiny mountain town of Ben Lomond, California.
With deputy sheriffs closing in, Carrillo texted his brother, Evan, asking him to tell his children he loved them and instructing him to give $50,000 to his fiancée. “I love you bro,” Carrillo signed off. Thinking the text message was a suicide note from a brother with a history of mental health troubles, Evan Carrillo quickly texted back: “Think about the ones you love.”
In fact, Steven Carrillo had a different objective, a goal he had written about on Facebook, discussed with other Boogaloo Bois and even scrawled out in his own blood as he hid from police that day. He wanted to incite a second Civil War in the United States by killing police officers he viewed as enforcers of a corrupt and tyrannical political order — officers he described as “domestic enemies” of the Constitution he professed to revere.

They may be dangerous but there not in 4 or 5 different cities burning stuff down and rioting for the last days. Our military stand down on extremism that we had to do a few weeks ago only mentioned right wing extremism. Right wing extremism does exist and sometimes they could do severe damage but everyone's forgetting all the damage has happened since George Foy died. Antifa even attacked a Democrat headquarters in Portland the day Joe Biden was inaugurated. Npr and many other stations did not report it but CBS News did. Nobody wants to admit they are in a Civil War because democrats don't want to agitate their leftist base

And FYI democrats do know we are in a civil war fighting against GOP inspired fascism. Maybe you should read up on how Donnie and the GOP have promoted it. SFC Randy Hellenbrand - he's on his way out, and should be. I was a O3E captain who got my MSM over 20 years ago also, and have been appalled by the crap that LTC (Join to see) has posted, that Harris should be impeached for a constitutionally protected activity, and he has repeatedly minimized the effects of the violent right. Although he claims not to be a member of the John Birch Society, he follows their script to the letter.

A big part of the problem is with our congressional leadership. Pandering and fueling an us vs them extremism. They get rich while we get divided and in some cases radicalized.
