Fox News host Tucker Carlson went on a tirade encouraging his millions of viewers to confront people wearing masks and even suggested calling the police or child protective services when they see a child in a mask.
“Your response when you see children wearing masks as they play should be no different from your response to seeing someone beating a kid at a Wal-Mart,” Carlson said in a Monday night segment. “Call the police immediately. Contact Child Protective Services.”
Since the segment aired, many people have pointed out the dangers of calling CPS on parents.

It's not funny anymore. Sane people know he's a joke but some take him seriously. This attitude is dangerous. Calling CPS??? Really? Confronting mask wearers? Wtf?

ROFL. I don't watch the news so when clips get posted like this I just roll on the floor laughing. Yikes! This is horrible! How dare he suggest we confront mask wearers. Is it not enough that all the Karens in the world confront the non-mask wearers? Is it not enough that people now get fired from their jobs if they don't use the proper pronoun or preferred title? God forbid a conservative have any opinion. What is this world coming to when conservatives spout out anything contrary to the "popular" opinion.

I'm not sure why anyone would defend Tucker Carlson but here we are. The issue with what he said is that his followers will do what he says and you will have people making false reports of child abuse when they see a kid in a mask. CPS is already a broken system the way it is - now you think it's okay for someone with a platform to sit there and inundate the system with fake calls, disrupting people's lives, possibly traumatizing children? For what? For him to make some more money. Get some more viewers.
He knows what he's doing and that's even more dangerous and disgusting. But leave it to you to defend someone like him - again not surprised.

See - I can downvote too. You said I was defending Tucker. Where? As far as false reports made to CPS - that has been a weapon of liberals for decades; ever since CPS was formed. I spent 3 years fighting for custody *AND* fighting CPS for all the reports of beatings and neglect of my kids. My CPS folder is over 3 inches think. And every! single! report! was found to be false. And what happens to those that report falsely? Absolutely NOTHING!
