Frankly, ONLY money raised in a state should be provided to support elections in that state.
Likewise, money raised in states for NATIONAL elections should in turn support national elections.
Both the RNC, DNC, and other registered parties should be required by law to TRANSPARENTLY demonstrate both these! Some people might think the money would be impossible to track. But I believe it can be tracked.
Imagine a national heat map by county that tracks donations. With the current tech it would not be difficult with the right secure and auditable digital superstructure to do this in near real-time.

When you do the math on some of these races it is interesting.
So, if this site is tracking "individual" contributions what is stopping people from harvesting the names that are clearly open for review and harassing these small donors?
Well, I dug a little deeper. Seems like you can search by ZIP CODE, etc. and find out everyone in a given ZIP CODE that gave money and to whom when. Is that scary or what. Also, an OPEN API is available that can be used by foreign operatives, etc. Are you kidding me? Are you thinking - scary?!?!?!?!?!?!
