Was the 737 MAX 8/10 verified for service and inspections under the existing FAA? Boeing does have a lot of Congressional support and has through various administrations. Depending on the position they are selected for, it makes sense. Just like so many Goldman Sachs in Treasury. If anyone checks out the EX-IM Bank, you will see why it’s often referred to as Boeing Bank.
