The school board doesn’t have a lot of choice in the matter. This is one of those “What were you thinking???” assignments.

They are wrong. Of course the curriculum would espouse garnering democratic values for the students, but democracy has to have context. What the kid did was to address a counterpoint to Democracy, and I think that was great. Don't kill discussions, learnings, and debates.

I don't care what he wears. I want to know the value he brings to the class for honest discussion.

An article of great interest sir, I know that a lot of people in this town are related to those that escaped the extermination camps of the Nazis, but why drag a kid through the mud when the teacher is of Jewish origin, and was more than likely showing the class that history must not repeat itself again LTC Tom Jones
