PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Senior officials from both nations are discussing options for expanded military cooperation, which the ABC has learnt include a proposal to form a new joint US marines and ADF training brigade based in Darwin.

If established, the joint brigade would be the first of its kind for Australia and would likely involve a rotating command with the United States.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,... Just hope the Aussies don't remember all of the things that went on between the Aussie girls and our GIs from the 32 Division during WWII.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Yes they are. My uncle said so. If you get a chance, there is a book out about the 32nd time in Australia, before the went to New Guinea. Relations, shall we say were very close and returning Australian soldiers were not happy about the results at the end of the war.
