The whole COVID vaccine messaging effort worked very well, up to a point. When all the initial volunteer test subjects had been used up, places like Ohio under the rule of the Emperor, HRH King Michael of Whine, started bribing the unconvinced with promises of winning a million dollars. Of course, he wasn't smart enough to offer it only to those who got vaccinated AFTER the lottery was announced, which would have greatly reduced the pool of potential winners and increased the chances for winning if you volunteered to be part of the great experiment, similarly increasing the number of people who might be willing to set aside their well-founded concerns about getting injected with an experimental substance in hopes of winning an instant retirement. I guess it's better than the "Shot and a Beer" program running in New Jersey. Still not enough convince the half of the population who have decided to wait. How long? Won't it be interesting to see the answer to that...
