This could be a disaster for the education of our children. One in four teachers say they may leave teaching at the end of the school year.
I know I thought about leaving because of the remote learning, not COVID concerns. Remote learning was much more work and difficult than in person teaching. However, I stuck it out because I really do like teaching even at my age even though I could retire any day I want (That's a good feeling!).

Cpl Vic Burk May God bless you for what your giving those kids. You've shared enough about your classes that I know I would have liked someone like you as a teacher. You do what your heart tells you to do regarding retiring... you've earned it.(you might want to check with your wife too...Lol...)

SGT (Join to see) Thank you! Education is SO important. There isn't much I wouldn't do to help a student be successful. Right now I feel like I am making a difference so I am staying with teaching.
