She is one beautiful lady! I saluted her from the cabin of a Pan Am 747 as I departed for Europe in 1973 and each time I flew over her for the next three years. Mr. Eifel’s design was truly inspired. I never had the opportunity to take a photo of her, but I did take one of his other famous creation, the Eiffel Tower as background to my shot of another beautiful lady, my bride in 1975.
