Speaking of distortion...

Says Jan. 6 Capitol riot “didn’t seem like an armed insurrection.”

In legal terms, “armed” means being in possession of any weapon, not just a firearm. While there are laws that specifically address firearms, weapons can include virtually any object used to threaten or cause harm.

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday defended her lies about the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and vowed to "keep spinning the truth."

If reading U.S. history makes you feel anything other than discomfort and mild shame, you're likely reading heavily edited propaganda, not history.

Of course reading American history makes you squirm. Read the history of any country, very few get off scot free. The wonderful little country of Belgium, read about the Congo. Denmark? Why home of the Vikings, a very brutal bunch and slave traders etc. You can not change the past, you work today to live into a better future and we were until BLM and Antifa decided our past wrote our future. You don’t have to read a history book from out side the USA, plenty of American books are honest about our history. But if we are the horrible racist, blood thirsty A-holes the left wants us to believe we are why do so many from other countries who have digested those “honest “ history books want to come here? I worked in a teaching hospital and we had brilliant doctors from all over the world working there, so it isn’t just the peasants who don’t know better who want to come to America.
I notice how the left totally ignores the truth also. Slavery and racism have never been totally accepted in America. There was a constant battle to limit slavery in America from its foundation.

LTC David Brown Problem is most school boards won't allow students to read those "honest about our history" books.
