We also need to think about running out of water in some regions of the country. It will be a huge problem.

We need to learn that we can’t fight Mother Nature. California is a prime example where the land can just support so many people, or in their case there is just so much water to go around. We can build dams all we want, but if the water just isn’t there, sooner or later the people will leave. MHO

Yeah, I live in Houston and we are no where near 100% renewable energy...

In today’s world the Left and solar/turban companies advertise intermittent energy sources as renewable energy sources that sounds great, but can be very dangerous when you need electricity and it’s not there. To ensure their people’s safety municipalities and electric companies need to figure out the maximum percentage of intermittent energy sources that can be used with the grid still being 100% reliable, and do not go over that percentage. Unfortunately, with the reality of today’s energy situation the only way organizations can hope to become carbon neutral is to use too much intermittent energy, a very dangerous situation as we witnessed last winter.

SFC (Join to see) - I agree with using as much renewable energy as possible, I just don't like when they lie about current stats to get people to think it is more mainstream then it is.

LT Brad McInnis - It key words in what you say is: as much intermittent energy as possible" without putting people at risk. Unfortunately solar and turban energy is not sustainable, they are not the solution they are being portrayed as. As a matter of fact wind and turban energy will probably slow or stop the next real energy breakthrough because too many people are making money off them, and will do and/or say anything to keep that money and government subsides coming in.
