New Oath Keeper defendant cooperating against others in major January 6 conspiracy case

A member of the Oath Keepers has cut a plea deal with prosecutors and is testifying secretly against others in the right-wing group, according to a criminal case unsealed Wednesday in Washington, DC.
The newly public case is the latest known move by the Justice Department to prosecute the extremist group for planning the January 6 attack on Congress.
Mark Grods is set to plead guilty to two charges -- conspiracy and obstruction of Congress' certification of the electoral college.
He plans to admit to taking part in paramilitary training efforts before January 6 and recruiting people to come to DC and join together for the siege. Grods and others brought firearms, combat outfits, helmets and radio equipment for the siege, according to the charging document.

This isn't meant to disparage you or anyone else that makes comments here...but I think that constantly labeling someone as a RIGHT WING group or LEFT WING group is obfuscating both camps. What do I mean?
It implies and joins people on the fringes of some kind movenment that are; the "wingers". It doesn't matter whether they are LEFT or RIGHT, they are in fact extremists; not terrorists, nutjobs, or patriots...extremists.
Which leads to my last point, both political parties must be willing to appeal to the center and independent voters. This will provide much needed repair moving forward; if we can suspend the value laden language that subverts our American culture. This is not cancel culture, no one is being canceled, let's just cancel this misuse of our language.
