A-10 Thunderbolt II at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho - 4k

I still love the quote, "My gun has a plane" when it comes to the A-10.

I realize we have to modernize and update where we can but damn that is one mean AC. There is nothing sexy about it, it is just mean and nasty. I am referring to the fact it is good fighting knife mean. Its one of those that likes to get into the middle of the fight, low, loud, dirty and bloody.

Until they have something better for CAS, the A-10 should stay in the inventory.
