U.S. House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy nominated five members of his party, including staunch Trump ally Jim Jordan, to serve on a special congressional panel probing the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, his office said on Monday.
McCarthy is also naming Representatives Jim Banks, Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong and Troy Nehls to the committee, a statement from McCarthy’s office said.
Four people died on the day of the violence, one shot dead by police and the other three of natural causes. A Capitol Police officer who had been attacked by protesters died the following day. Two police officers who took part in the defense of the Capitol later took their own lives. More than a hundred police officers were injured.

Violence I don't agree with, I've seen and had enough of it in my lifetime, however, the Capitol Building is suppose to be the peoples building and there should be absolutely nothing against holding a peaceful protest there, everyone tends to forget that the very first death was a Air Force Veteran that was unarmed, why isn't the cop that shot her being prosecuted?

CW2 Micah Ragins Being an armourer in combat is still being an armourer in the rear … necessary but no CIB / Bronze Star w/V awards for you . So what did you accomplish by resigning? You clearly demonstrated your lack of leadership by quitting… not figuring out how to make it better … you quit! Now your a Chief Warrant in the National Guard … another lack luster position necessary but boring. As for your attitude… your racism is showing and it they are looking for extremists in the ranks perhaps it should recommended someone investigate you. You seem very extreme, angry and very racially biased possibly having a negative effect on the other soldiers who serve with you. Until you get your extreme racism under control stay off my feed… You are socially and morally objectionable.

CW2 Micah Ragins Once again you underestimate who I am and what I know about your qualifications to be appointed as a Warrant Officer, how the National Guard is structured and operates and what you may have achieved as a Noncommissioned Officer. You just don’t get it … if you did you would know not to start in the first place. You can’t hurt my pride in this country, The Constitution and the service I provided throughout my military and civilian career. You do cause great concern with your radical view point on race in this country. MLK would be ashamed of you. As for Jan 6th we have had two investigations, people have been arrested and sentenced … the FBI is in this up to their asses, and the Speaker of the House just removed 2 Republicans appointed from the Commission … removed because they might ask hard questions? Believe what you will but this is a political hit job. You drank the KoolAid so the best advice I can offer is keep your profile down … the pendulum swings both ways and thus issues have a way of coming full circle and biting you in the ass. And stop the name calling … you will have a more successful career.

If the color of your skin means more to you then the content of one character you are a lost sole and I will hope that you do not stumble as you continue to serve.
