Thinking like that is what has gotten us into the situation where even a $7 trillion bill isn't enough.

SPC Jeff Daley, PhD My belief is that a border wall is totally unnecessary and helps only those US occupants with narrow minded beliefs (those ICE contracts do help those taxpayers who get them BTW). While repairing crumbling bridges/dams/railroads or expanding broadband is good for all occupants of the US.

I know the child tax credit will do. Women will have more kids just to get more money. How do I know, my sister-in-law has seven kids from different fathers and basically uses the kids as piggy banks and lives off the money of the child tax credit. Many families will use the money properly but I know many other families that use the money meant for the kids for drugs, alcohol and the casino. This is not a good idea.

Disney's Forgotten Cruise Ship - The Queen Mary in Long Beach - Randomland! | RallyPoint
I have been on this former cruise ship at least 10 times in my life. You do get Government discounts with military i.d. It is just on the other side of the Vincent-Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor. Go spend the night if you are visiting the Battleship Iowa in San Pedro (20 minutes away). There is also a former Russian Attack Sub moored next to it!

From the article I don't think Disney owns her anymore...From the Article "After battling the bankrupt former leaseholder Urban Commons in court, a judge gave the city control of the ship earlier this month."

I can recall as a Medical Department Officer stationed at the Naval Hospital Long Beach, we had a dining out aboard the Queen Mary, what a magnificent ship, no doubt the cost to maintain this beast is a good amount. I can remember of my ship days the grinding, and prepping and painting in all our spaces was almost a daily thing, I wonder who does it and how often it is done on this ship. Maybe it's time that pictures will surfice, sink her somewhere and let the divers enjoy her.

Governments, local or not, have not shown a good track record of doing much in the way of profit. That being said I think the one option of selling it to a Casino group to remake into a top notch venue would be most profitable for the city. They could set a Per Room tax rate for occupancy, get additional taxes from the money spent there , and I would think there would be additional dollars for the city in tourism. I don't know the number of staterooms that could be rented but just look at Las Vegas, obviously Casinos are profitable.
