can you "trespass" on a state? abbott is just pissed because he can't arrest members of the state house!!! and I would guarantee he will make NO distinction between legal and illegal migrants.

Illegal aliens? Got it. Actually he can order his troops from Texas to aid in this, but not execute arrests. Unless they are deputized. Several are on the border mission and I don't believe he can do that as they are T10 and need a federal mandate. But the are not migrants, but illegal aliens breaking the law despite how the author of the article tries to spin it.

Maj Marty Hogan, I’ve always understood that the national guards of the various states may detain individuals. When the proper authorities arrive, arrests can be made.

Has more of a brain than you do? He is doing what is needed to uphold the laws of not just Texas but of the United States. You know, those little things that you swore an oath to or did you swear falsely? A person comes her illegally... they are breaking the laws both civil and criminal.
