Wildfires force people to flee Greek island by boat

Scores of people on the Greek island of Evia were forced to flee by boat as wildfire spread rapidly, destroying homes in its wake.

The blaze on the island, north of Athens, forced villages to be evacuated.

Fires also threatened the outskirts of Greece's capital.

I remember the Firestorm we had here in Florida in 1998. 500,000 acres burned, smoke burning eyes nose, and throat and ashes actually falling on the beach into the ocean. Believe me, I can sympathize.
