It appears the track record for MST victims from the military to the VA is very appalling. I blame the lack of appropriate leadership to make changes.

On the military side I think the Commanding Generals should make it their priority. Shit rolls downhill. SSgt Addy R.

The generals could not fix it, so the SECDEF is getting involved because he knows the system can be very broken sometimes. Some of the sexual assault cases were absolutely horrible and evil. Some of victims were harassed by the chain of command and Drill SGTs. I am referring to two female basic trainees.

In that environment people become vulnerable because they don’t have any power. However, when the two cases were brought up by the victims, the COCs retaliated in various ways. It makes me sick to my stomach they were sexually assaulted, and their COCs attacked the victims. That in itself is evil. I hope people see some jail time. Leaders should take care of their people. That is why am so infuriated. The COC did not do the right thing. They continued to harm the victims. I hope all those guilty serve jail time and are kicked out the army. The army does not need leaders of such low caliber and the propensity to behave in evil manners. SSgt Addy R.
