MSG (Join to see) - Your Sun link referred to an LA Times article, where the reference to Antifa came from Capt. Stacy Spell, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman. However the Times article went on the explain: While the statement referred to “Antifa,” the counterprotesters appeared to be a mixture of people who have shown up to oppose anti-vaccine and anti-mask rallies in recent months."

Antifa is just the right's boogeyman. Anytime someone stands up against the radical right, the right-wing media feels compelled to label them Antifa. Perhaps they are correct. Any true American is anti-fascist. Aren't you?

"Any true American is anti-fascist", a true American recognizes fascists by their actions and not by their name. ANTIFA members are fascists. They use the same tactics and techniques. If someone commits a robbery and they call themselves anti-robbers, does this mean they couldn't have committed the crime? Does anyone actually fall for that?

As for the ANTIFA that showed up, they used a website that was identified as an ANTIFA website to coordinate the date and clothing
I would take the word of the Los Angeles Police Department spokesman that the people were identified as ANTIFA over someone calling them "counter protesters"

I think the media is about as good at checking ANTIFA membership cards as they are at checking White Supremacist membership cards. How is that determined by the way?
By the way, what exactly is a "counter protester"? Is there a membership card for that?

MSG (Join to see) - OK, Joe, it is apparent you have a different opinion of the meaning of the word fascist, so I will let this one go for now.
Have a nice day.

Whatever you are smoking must be pretty strong.
ANTIFA is present in almost (if not all) States. It has a strong social media existence. Check Facebook and others and you will find one in about every State. It has organization at the local level and receives financial and logistical support when members travel somewhere to riot.
In many ways, they can be compared to terrorist groups
The FBI has previously stated that they have a number of investigations into local groups.

I do not use Facebook for two reasons:
It posts articles regardless of fact or source.
I will lose my clearance.

If you want facts, subscribe to “the Conversation “ website. It is written by University professors.

Facebook does more than post articles. It allows people and businesses to form webpages similar to RP that cater specifically to certain groups.
There are ANTIFA webpages from just about every State and many Cities that can be located on Facebook. When you look at the pages, you can see where different ones have been involved in different protests or coordinating future actions.

If that is your choice for information, I cannot debate the validity nor variety of services because as I have stated, I do not subscribe to the service.
