What happened over the weekend in Afghanistan is an example of the consequences when you elect an idiot to be President of the United States. What is happening TODAY is why you don't let that idiot (or the people who control that idiot) strip you of your God-given Second Amendment rights.
Taliban fighters in the Afghan capital, Kabul, started collecting weapons from civilians on Monday because people no longer need them for personal protection, a Taliban official said.
"We understand people kept weapons for personal safety. They can now feel safe. We are not here to harm innocent civilians," the official told Reuters.

Let's look at the RP Topics you chose for this link. "Constitution" Whose constitution? "Firearms and Guns" Seems reasonable. "Freedom" What freedom? This is now a land of Sharia. "Afghanistan" Is that even a place? It's not a civilized nation. Never has been. "Politics" There is no art or science in the governance of Afghanistan under Sharia, just brute force. We tried to civilize the place despite centuries of failures by others. Some Afghanis embraced civilization, principally the women (don't women always appear more civilized than men?). And, they are the ones who will now suffer for it. Shame on us for teasing them with our promises and then abandoning them to the barbarians...

CPT Jack Durish The topic tags "Constitution" and "Freedom" were in reference to our protections and rights, at a precarious point. Benefits Afghanistan does not have. The article references the type of rule Afghanis are subject to, and caution for Americans.
