Flawed assumptions led to tragic outcomes in Afghanistan

Reading this, it is apparent that Biden was damned if he did and damned if he did not.

It was a scam. Companies belonging to Politicians and their relative provided "Security" by hiring mercenaries. Most were foreigners who did not speak the language or understand the culture. They abused their power and created an impossible situation. They robbed us again and again. The situation was doomed. I would have been pleased if one general officer had spoken up.
