"A suspended Fort Jackson, South Carolina, drill sergeant was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and battery Monday following a two-day bench trial, according to local media reports.

Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Pentland shoved and pursued a Black man through his Columbia, South Carolina, neighborhood in a viral video this April."

You just can’t go around assaulting people on a public sidewalk. The guy could have any or no reason to be there, doesn’t matter. The erratic behavior towards some woman (whatever that means) is something for law enforcement to figure out, after all there are a lot of Karens out there. The SFC decided to be a vigilante and assaulted him when he was currently presenting no threat to anyone. His actions reflect poorly on the uniform, his command and the United States Army.
