Veterans Are Prized Recruits as Congressional Candidates

There are currently 91 veterans continuing to serve our country in a new and meaningful way in Congress. Both Republicans and Democrats anticipate a significant number of veterans to run again in 2022, including races where veterans will be opposing each other and even higher numbers of female veterans. It's great to see veterans find a new way to serve others and put the skills they acquired in the military to good use through elected office.

Hopefully they can still place America first above party affiliation if and when elected!

IMHO Veterans are one of the best choices because in the military you learn that even though we are all different we need to work together for a common goal.
To that end I think or at least hope they are willing to look at multiple sides of an issue and act for the common good rather than just vote party lines.

The Veteran community needs to continue stepping up and challenging career politicians. They need to push the issues and win seats in Congress and the Senate in the hopes of turning the ship around to save our Republic!
