We are what we are. I would prefer we all get along, but try to force your beliefs on me and we will fight.

I personally don't care what you want to call yourself, how you wish to live your life. But because someone chooses a nontypical lifestyle does not mean I have to agree, leave me alone and I will leave you alone. Just as you think a certain lifestyle is a good thing, I think mine is good too, and it makes me angry that some people try to make people accept their way of thinking through any means possible.

That includes not trying to force someone who runs a business to celebrate your lifestyle with their business, as in suing the Baker because they didn't want to bake a wedding cake for a gay marriage etc. I am licensed in my state to preform weddings, but I will not do a gay wedding, nor will I marry you to a bicycle or a tree or any of the other nonsense things people have sued about. I do think if they have a particular viewpoint that they should let it be known up front.

What would even be better is to post it so customers know ahead of time, but that is just my opinion and we all know what everyone has.

For someone who claims not to care, it sure sounds like you do

SrA John Monette - As I said, you leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. I actually have several neighbors that are gay, we talk the same stuff as other neighbors. The Lawns need water or cutting, have seen such and such a critter (mostly Racoons), hope they don't destroy stuff or get into the garden, etc. They just don't try to convince other people that they should be like them.
I would be just as pissed if a normal couple tried to tell me I need to do whatever they think is the cool thing to do, I don't know, maybe eat raw live Goldfish or something stupid.
And I really object to anyone trying to impose their standards, morals, or lack there of on someone who has the right to believe the way they want.

MSgt Dale Johnson By your own statements you force your beliefs on others. As far as the baker goes LGBT people pay taxes like everyone else and those taxes make it possible for him to conduct business so when the baker refuses to serve the public they should have their license to operate yanked as they are discriminating against others. To make it simple they are forcing their beliefs on others just like you admit to.

SGT (Join to see) - First of all your opinion means nearly nothing because you criticize me as an unknown, afraid to use your own name. If you have an opinion your should at least be ADULT enough to own it.
Your logic is EXTREMELY FLAWED.
No ones TAXES have anything to do with a business being or staying open, taxes pay for government both Local and Federal. The logic that the government takes care of the streets doesn't fly because the streets are available to EVERYONE weather they pay taxes or not. As far as Business Licenses go the business pays for that license, your tax dollars do not.
Next, my beliefs are not forced on anyone, and neither is the Baker's. Any IDIOT can find another Baker to bake a cake or someone who will preform a Wedding Ceremony. It should be up to that business or person if they wish to forego the potential profits. My faith as a Christian will not let me do so, I have that right, its called Freedom of Religion.
