This is an issue everywhere. Fewer active duty man's fewer veterans which means fewer members

SP5 Dennis Loberger - Pre Covid the A.L. & S.A.L. at the prison had 22 A.L. members & about 60 S.A.L. members. We were averaging 45 at both of the Monthly Meetings plus 16 in attendance at the Board Meeting.
We also had over $13,500.00 remaining in our Legion account... money we made from fundraisers inside the prison. Upon returning this past month(slow process getting volunteers back in) we had 6 A.L. & 30 S.A.L. members left. It has always been a challenge keeping our A.L. membership up because of inmates getting out or transferring to a different prison pre-covid. Now... 17 months of no recruiting whatsoever it will be a real challenge to re-build the Post Membership & more important our activities for the Veterans back up.
