10,000 Unnecessary Cancer Deaths Linked to COVID-19 Pandemic, Lockdown in UK: Report

I have lost a couple friends who kept getting pushed off due to covid when they had concerns. By the time both went for their checks it was terminal cancer. Most likely both could have been stopped with surgery and minimal chemo or radiation.

Sad - and it has happened here as well. When the government is willing to allow people to die while saying they want to "flatten the curve" - well, that is a government I have lost trust and faith in.

Many individuals have put off various health concerns due to this virus. Others have been told to wait and at the same time other health professionals say go get checked out. The lay person is at the mercy of what they are told and their beliefs. Myself I would go and force the issue. But the U.K. has socialized health care which is a whole new animal.
