Because Joe needs someone to blame for his mistakes and errors. This gives him and the democrats the fodder for their basic talking points, slavery and systemic racism. The press goes off on those tangents and Joe can let the border mess continue.

The problem with her stupid post is she is wrong, the actual photographer has come out and stated that no one was whipped, the press just took that particular angle and ran this exaggerated story which has now gone viral all over the country and 95% of it is just lies.
