The bottom line is while You are in active service there are things You can't say about those in Your chain of command even when they are complete, incompetent idiots Who are also harming our nation and out Allies You can't say that. The Colonel did put His career on the line although His statements are true ! Biden should be happy seeing another Military officer that isn't a Kiss ass and political hack out the door.

SFC Randy Hellenbrand - You continue to show you ignorance with such shallow statements. Please stop. If I can tell, others can too.

A better example of what the LtCol should have said, who now resides at CLNC Brig. https://www.cbsnews.com/video/first-eyewitness-account-from-marine-wounded-in-kabul-airport-attack-that-killed-13-us-troops/
First eyewitness account from Marine wounded in Kabul airport attack that killed 13 U.S. troops
Only on "CBS Mornings," the first eyewitness account from a U.S. Marine who was wounded in the terrorist attack at the airport in Kabul that killed 13 U.S. service members during the chaotic American evacuation from Afghanistan. David Martin reports.

Interesting that the "defund the police" and "empty the prisons" party is quick to make political prisoners of Americans who disagree with them.
Day in, day out dissension among the troops must be dealt with immediately. Most of us have exercised our leadership to bring recalcitrant troops into the fold without resorting to stockade or brigs. Personally, in nearly 30 years, I never, ever said " that's an order". A simple "a word to the wise is sufficient" never failed to achieve results. The Army and Navy has a long history of senior officers laying their careers on the line is disputes with administrations. Lively afternoon conversations can be had discussing Truman/MacArthur, Truman/Admirals revolt etc. Whether you agree with his position or not (obviously I do), you cannot but admire a man who has risked all on principle.

I agree he has some huge balls CW04 to make known his disagreement. I share his thoughts in a lot of his statements. His last statement after a direct order maybe more than the Marine Corp can allow. I don't know for sure. But I am concerned.
Thank you for your thoughts Sir.

SFC Randy Hellenbrand - I hope you getting help at the VA. Your posts are almost always without depth and more than a few seconds of thought process. Why such a dark tone of writing?

Why do people keep throwing around "political prisoners" so casually? You people really, REALLY want to be oppressed so badly don't you? I don't know why. But keep pretending to be victims where there are none I suppose.
