I'm certain we would fight for Hawaii.... maybe not Taiwan, but definitely Hawaii. We might even bomb them if they get close enough to sniff it.... no sniffing Hawaii.... no sniffing....

Don't be too sure: The native Hawaiians have been demanding our military take a smaller stance by doing away with things like Pohakuloa Training Area, the Waianae Ammo Storage Area, the Kahuku Training Area, and more. They really dislike the U.S. influence on the islands. Moreover, China is establishing a major base near Christmas Island--well within striking distance of Hawaii!

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Christmas Island is just as far from Hawaii as China mainland... but that hardly matters anymore since China has around the world supersonic range now...

Dale, I'm confused, I believe that the native Hawaiians don't want American influence taking away from their culture, but I think they would rather have the USA there than the Chinese.

This is a very big "IF", but if China were to hit Hawaii, they would undoubtedly hit it harder than anything we've ever seen from China.....

Are you saying that if China hit Hawaii, we would hit them somewhere else, or just give up Hawaii without a fight? Let me rephrase, If China hit Hawaii, and it was your call, what would you do?
