I don't see this as any surprise... Let's hope and pray out drone team can improve on it's aim.

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that Al Qaeda, and ISIS never left Afghanistan, just went underground, so-to-speak... By leaving Afghanistan (albeit, a surrender in my view because of the way we left...). By that awkward, ill-timed, ill-planned withdrawal, we have opened the door to more Terrorist action in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States... When will Politicians ever learn not to be weak, when that is exactly what fuels the Middle East terrorist radicals to move on... It also has fueled China and Russia to prepare against the U.S.! China will move on Taiwan, and take it over unless the United States takes a hard stand by not letting it happen! This is a WAKE-UP CALL ALL THE WAY!

Something flying that fast, and as low as it can makes for an almost impossible target to hit. The only defense I can conjure up would be a large buckshot deployed in its path milliseconds before the missile arrives - and hope enough buckshot (1" ball bearings) take it out of flight. Would have to be over the ocean! Talk about hitting a fly with a BB at 1,000 miles away!
