So the fall of the country is NOT the fault of President Biden? There was actual corruption in the Afghan government? What are the repubs gonna say??

The buck stops.... Somewhere over there. Somebody else's fault.
The existence of ghost Soldiers was a known factor during the withdrawal and the planning for the withdrawal. The rampant corruption, likewise, was a known factor. Failing to account for that *does* fall on Biden and his administration. And Biden knew about it - he is on tape begging Ghani not to admit how quickly the country would fold.
No President, current or past, is responsible for what Afghans choose to do in Afghanistan. But they *are* responsible for how we react, how we prepare, and what we do to encourage or discourage actions which are beneficial or harmful to US interests.
Biden is not responsible for the collapse of the Afghan government. He *is* responsible for his failure to support the government and prevent it's collapse. It was within his power and authority to sustain Afghanistan. He knew that if he withdrew US support, Afghanistan would fall. He chose to withdraw support.
Yes, that's on him.
And, yes... Trump (as well as Obama and Bush, to lesser extents - and even Reagan and Bush Sr.!) set the stage. Yes, Biden inherited a plan, and a strategic situation that was less than enviable. But once he inherited, how owned it, and what he CHOSE to do is on his head.
