..."In June, at an event in New Hampshire, Pence said that Jan. 6 was a “dark day in the history of the United States Capitol.” He said he may "never see eye to eye” with Trump about the event.

The audio comes as the House select committee investigating the attack has ramped up its probe in the last few weeks, with a number of subpoenas issued to former Trump aides this week."

LTC David Brown - All constitutional scholars insist that at this point, only Biden can claim this privilege and he has waived it because of these most compelling circumstances.

Because there is no law against douchebaggery. Trump is a lot of things. He did a lot of things. One of the things he did NOT do is conspire in the 6 Jan assault.

It looked like he did to me and they are still collecting evidence, but it's not up to me to decide, it will be up to the legal system to decide. They keep canning more and more of the perpetrators, and it seems like everyone of them are saying they did it for Trump, trying to save their own hide, so we'll see. Even if Trump is found guilty of anything, he won't do any time.

PFC David Foster - They did it "for" Trump in much the same way that an obsessed friendzoned guy will kill an abusive boyfriend "for" "his" woman.

Adolf Hitler Attempts a Coup, 1923

The "Beer Hall Putsch

By Jennifer Rosenberg
Updated November 25, 2019
Ten years before Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany, he tried to take power by force during the Beer Hall Putsch. On the night of November 8, 1923, Hitler and some of his Nazi confederates stormed into a Munich beer hall and attempted to force the triumvirate, the three men that governed Bavaria, to join him in a national revolution. The men of the triumvirate initially agreed since they were being held at gunpoint, but then denounced the coup as soon as they were allowed to leave.
