Reading the article, I think both sides of the argument have a point. I would really need to see the literature and surveys to form a more thorough opinion.
Mental Health *is* important. Using mental health as a Trojan horse medium to push political concepts is not. And as much as schools say it isn't happening, I have seen it in my own work with children.

I sometimes wonder what would happen to these white kids if they had to live overseas in a different culture for several years.

SGT (Join to see) - my experience was that they (all the kids, not just one race) adapted well to others. It was a cultural shock for them all, not sure why one would call out race in such a situation without some actual point to make.
