(11/2021 Virginia) Leesburg Elementary School teacher Tanner Cross, the teacher who got suspended for speaking out against the pro-transgender Policy 8040, said, "The court issued a final order permanently prohibiting the Loudoun County Public School Board from punishing me for freely expressing my views.”
“I’m a teacher, but I serve God first, and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it’s against my religion, it’s lying to a child, it’s abuse to a child, and it’s sinning against our God," he said.
Policy 8040 requires school staff to refer to students by their preferred pronouns, to open activities to students according to their gender identity, to allow students access to facilities corresponding to gender identity, and to complete training on topics related to LGBTQ+ students.There are also other teachers objecting to following this policy.

If anyone has complaints about the gender they are at birth, then complain to the manufacturer. In my view, the manufacturer is God, who gives us life.
"Gender Assigned at birth" is IMHO a totally ridiculous phrase, part of the far left's la-la land dialogue of unreality. There are only two genders at birth, male and female. A boy is not a girl because he thinks he's a she.
Remember the courts requiring colleges to take money away from many men's collegiate sports teams to provide equal athletic opportunity under Title 9? Now we're supposed to allow genetic men to unfairly compete against real women just because the man says, "In my mind I believe I'm really a woman?" That is nuts.
When I hear that argument, I think back to the East German "women's" Olympic track and field team. They had a bunch of steroidal freaks on that team who looked much more male than female. Their widespread abuse of performance-enhancing hormones and drugs was one of the primary abuses that led the international sports community to institute stringent testing to eliminate use of performance enhancing drugs.
Now we're supposed to ignore the realities of an individual's genetics to support their strange trans-gender fantasy? There is no logic to any of this.

This is a good start. Loudoun County School Board is taking a LOT of heat, and justly so, for spewing this propaganda at young kids and for trying to conceal the rape of a young woman in a Loudoun County school bathroom. When the young rape victim's father tried to find out what was going on, the Loudoun County school board had him arrested. That's insane.
It's not the job of the school board to inculcate children with far-left propaganda. The moral education of children is the job of their parents. It's not in the portfolio of the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers, both of which are effectively arms of the Democrat-Socialist Party. Just FYI, at the last Democratic National Convention which nominated Joe Biden for President, just over 35% of the delegates attending belonged to the NEA. The NEA is no longer a professional standards educational organization that it used to be, they are focused on politics.
