Rittenhouse verdict: The system is rigged! No fair trials! The world is ending!
Jones verdict: The system is working! He finally got what was coming to him! Let's us celebrate his misfortune!
The system worked in BOTH cases. And this is how it SHOULD work. You spread lies and utter bullshit, you get taken to court and bankrupted. Watching and waiting for MSM to be taken to court for their lies and utter bull shit with Rittenhouse. But not holding my breath as that would likely prove fatal.

SFC James Cameron - Yes the system is outdated. Here are just a few of many things that need reform: The 1994 crime bill, mandatory minimum sentencing, and police accountability (fair and effective policing) and punishment for bad policing. I can go on if you would like to discuss.

1SG (Join to see) I see that as more of a case of legislative meddling with the system, not the system itself, 1SG. It’s not just law enforcement accountability that should be scrutinized. There is a lot of denial of personal responsibility that comes up in this particular subject. I’d absolutely like to discuss. Hope all is well with you, by the way.

SFC James Cameron - Like i said, i gave a few things. The system itself is antiquated. We need fair trials for the rich and poor (fair and impartial), end pre-trial detention for most (not all) defendants, shorten extensive sentences, proper funding and oversight for indigent defense, end civil asset forfeiture, programs and support to reduce recidivism, forensic evidence oversight and scrutiny, and much more. The current system works against itself because it is so outdated. This is why we have overcrowded prisons and for profit prisons. faulty forensic evidence contributes to nearly 50% of DNA exonerations and 25% of all exonerations. An estimated near 60% of people in jail have not been convicted for a crime but cannot afford bail set by the courts.
I hope all is well for you too. I am getting ready for the holiday madness.

1SG (Join to see) 1SG, I agree with everything you said there. The system has been stacked against the accused if they can’t afford to play in the legal arena. There is a clearly visible tier level between the “haves” versus “have nots” because of that. I think there are some crimes that should retain a minimum mandatory sentence on conviction though. Crimes against children, the disabled, and the elderly take that spotlight for me.
